Dhiraagu is accepting applications for the 2027 intake of its Apprenticeship Programme, a paid two-year scheme for young Maldivians, the telecom operator said.
The programme is designed so that participants earn an income while they gain skills.
Training and mentoring
Dhiraagu says apprentices will mix structured training, including workshops and courses, with practical learning on the job alongside experienced employees over the two years. Every apprentice works with a dedicated mentor from the company on a one-to-one basis.
Skills the company says the programme develops include:
- communication
- planning and organisation
- problem-solving and decision-making
- customer service
- occupational health and safety
Certificates and job prospects
An official certificate of completion is awarded to apprentices who finish both years, while those who leave after the first year receive a certificate covering that year. Depending on performance and Dhiraagu's requirements, high-performing apprentices may be offered jobs at the company.
Eligibility
- Maldivian nationality
- Age between 18 and 30
- At least A'level qualifications
- Not currently in full-time employment

Applications are submitted online via the Dhiraagu apprenticeship page.
